cut-out drawings to ceramic installation

Irene van de Mheen works from drawing transformations into the third dimension. She cuts out forms, piling up layers of positive and negative shapes. She either screenprints the forms in layers or cuts them out constructing 3D paper models which are presented as photographs in 2D form. Yet another step is a materialization in an installation made of ceramics.
